Rabbits beware

After I checked an irrigation system this evening I decided to do my part to end the scourge of rabbits in the area. I went to an road between a pasture and a wheat field and set up. After I took one in the pasture I scoped out the road. Over 400 yards down the road I saw several. One of the rabbits was very obliging and set there while I got the range. I finally hit him on the third shot at about 460 yards with a slight cross wind. I guess it was a lucky shot but I am still excited. Hmm what farmers do for fun.

John ran over a GTO with a 742 today. The GTO is now a pancake.

What are wrong with these instructions?

So I am filling out some state forms for business purposes. As I read the instructions for returning the forms I find this sentence:

Mail two copies of the completed form along with the filing fee to the address shown on the heading of this form or fax two copies to......

Does anyone else think it is strange that they ask for two copies to be faxed? Come on

Think about it

If a single cliff swallow can eat 1000 mosquitoes in a day, how many can a married cliff swallow eat?

Escalate: To increase in intensity, magnitude, etc

Deescalate: To decrease in intensity, magnitude, amount or the like.

Why then do we ride escalators up and down? Shouldn't we ride an escalator up and a deescalator down?
